O, nu
Gandeam eu .. Se pare ca ne-am ratacit. Observasem ca ne aflam langa o balta.. Iar din spatele nostru venea un rinocer furios ca i-am incalcat teritoriul. Deodata se aude un sunet, care probabil era indreptat spre noi, care nu observasem rinocerul. Cineva ne tranteste la pamant un metru mai incolo, iar rinocerul isi vede de treaba lui.. Ma uit nervoasa la acel cineva si il recunosc! „Ce naiba cauti TU aici?” spun punand accent pe cuvantul „tu”.. „Pardon? Tocmai ti-am salvat viata!” spuse el la fel de rastit insa cu un fel de mandrie in voce. Ii arunc o privire urata si ma ridic de pe jos. Eram sub o creanga de copac si am privit in sus. Un sarpe verde inchis cu dungi negre era deasupra mea. Am inceput sa tip insa Bill l-a luat in mana si l-a aruncat in iarba. „Nu ti-am spus sa ma lasi in pace??” spun eu de doua ori mai tare si mai rastit decat data trecuta. „Nu, si apropo. Tocmai ti-am salvat viata din nou” spuse si imi face cu ochiul, lucru care ma exaspereaza. „Mda.. M-ai salvat de un sarpe bleg care oricum era inofensiv.. Cineva ca tine ar trebuii sa stie una ca asta” spun zambindu-mi in sine bucuroasa ca i-am dat replica. Se intoarce iritat si porneste pe un alt traseu. Insa Denise imi spulbereaza planurile si fuge dupa el. „Hei, stai, stai!” urla ea gafaind. „Ha?” raspunse Bill indiferent ridicand o spranceana. „Pai noi ne-am ratacit!” „Si ce legatura are asta cu mine?”. Stia el ce stia, scopul lui nu era sa scape de noi! „Pai, tu ar trebui sa stii drumul spre vreo cabana, nu?” „S-ar putea sa stiu, s-ar putea sa nu!” spuse el cu un aer misterios si enervant pentru oricine desigur nu si pentru Denise.. Din urma veneam si eu respirand greu.
